As part of the Fête de la Nature 2026, the CPIE is offering several meetings with a specialist who can explain the flora, fauna, nature and environment to anyone who wants to find out more.

Amateurs and beginners are welcome!

Jean-Jacques BACKX, a passionate amateur naturalist, scours the countryside and gardens to scrutinize small fauna and help us understand what we call "biodiversity".
He has turned his observations into some highly instructive short documentaries for the general public.

"The nesting of solitary wasps and bees" these insects, still little-known and little-appreciated, nevertheless play an essential role in pollination and in the balance of biodiversity within ecosystems.

After the film, we'll take the time to ask him a few questions...
