In Hendaye, parking is designed to make your stay easier and allow you to make the most of every moment you spend in our town.

Parking regulations are just as important as shuttle buses and the construction of bicycle paths.

Zones & costs
Red zone (paid parking limited to 10 hours per day).
Every day (Sundays and public holidays included), from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., from April 1 to October 31:
30 minutes: €0.70; 1h: €1.40; 2h: €2.80 €; 3h: 5.30 €; 4h: 7.80 €; 5h: 12.50 €; 6h: 18 €; 7h : 21 €, 8h : 24 €; 9h: 25 € and 10h: 30 €.
This concerns :
– Rue des ACACIAS, Rue des ARBOUSIERS, Rue des AUBÉPINES, Rue d’ARMATONDE (in the section between n°5 and Chemin de Larrechta).
– Boulevard de la BAIE DE TXINGUDI (section between rue des Tulipiers and the Flore traffic circle).

Blue zone (paid parking limited to 5 hours per day).
Every day, from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm, except Sundays and public holidays):

Holidaymaker” package
A VACANCIER PACKAGE has been created and will be available from the beginning of July, on condition that you are staying in seasonal rental accommodation in the commune, regardless of location (apartment/house, hotel, campsite, etc.).
This pass entitles the holder to unlimited parking for 7 days and costs €93.

General remarks
Disabled persons
Free parking in on-street spaces (if you display your GIG or GIC badge), except for spaces in enclosed car parks (barrier: e.g. Sokoburu).
Parking lots
Parking on rue des Orangers is charged in summer and free in winter. The Sokoburu parking lot is chargeable all year round.
Monitoring
6 municipal employees (4 ASVP and 2 police officers) are responsible for surveillance of the various zones and parking lots (69 parking meters) + 4 employees during the summer.
Time clock out of order
Go to the nearest one. Please report the fault by calling the Town Hall (+33 (0)5.59.48.23.23) and giving the number of the faulty parking meter.

You have 20 minutes.
A new face for parking meters
Be careful, type on the keys on the keyboard (not the screen)!
- To pay for parking (even for registered Hendayans): you need to type in your license plate number (without spaces).
- Forfait Post Stationnement: if you have to pay the amount of the forfait post-stationnement.

Flowbird application
By downloading the Flowbird application onto your phone (or computer), you can pay without disturbing yourself.
One of the advantages of the application is that it notifies you on your mobile when your ticket is about to expire.
PayByPhone application
In addition to Flowbird, Paybyphone is exclusively dedicated to parking payment and does not support subscriptions or F.P.S..
Post-Parking Package
In the event of non-payment or insufficient payment :
- red zone: €25 for 24 hours, then €31.
- blue zone: €24.
For 24 hours after receiving the F.P.S. notice, you can pay directly at any of the municipality’s parking meters (by credit card or Flowbird application). The price already paid at the parking meter will be deducted from the post-parking charge.
Otherwise, you’ll receive a letter from the A.N.T.A.I. (Agence Nationale de Traitement Automatisé des Infractions) informing you that you’ve paid your parking fee.
*Ifyou haven’t paid enough money into the parking meter, the Parking Enforcement Officer will affix a “forfait post stationnement (F.P.S.)” slip to your windscreen, which you will have to pay (either at a parking meter, or on receipt of the notice sent by the A.N.T.A.I.).
