Whether you want to go downtown to eat or shop, or to the beach to surf or sunbathe, with or without a car, there are many ways to get around Hendaye and the surrounding area.

Easily accessible by plane (Biarritz airport 30 minutes away), by train (T.G.V. station to Hendaye Ville), by bus (Flixbus and the Txik Txak network), and of course by car (via motorway A63 exits 2 or 1)), Hendaye nonetheless remains a destination that takes the environment and climate into account, thanks to its adapted facilities.

So, if you’d like to get rid of your car during your stay, we’ve been focusing on soft mobility for some years now: bicycles, scooters, buses, etc… and even shuttles to cross the Bidassoa for a getaway in the southern Basque country.
