With “Txik Txak” (pronounced “Tchic-Tchac”), the Syndicat des Mobilités de la Communauté Pays Basque (Mobility Syndicate of the Basque Country Community) brings together a range of services covering an area from Hendaye to Ondres (southern Landes) and from Biarritz to Tardets (in the Basque province of Soule).
Hendaye is connected to Irun (Spain) and Biriatou by 4 lines(31, 33, 35 and 37).
Line 3 Car Express links Hendaye to Bayonne, via Saint Jean de Luz.
To use public transport, passengers must have a valid ticket (single ticket or season ticket): from €1.20.

Stops are optional: just wave to the driver to let him know you want to get on at this stop.
Lines 31, 33 and 35 run every day, including public holidays, all year round.
On May 1st, none of the Txik Txak lines will be running.
If you already have a ticket, present it each time you board the bus. If you don’t have one, buy one from the driver (bring extra).
Your ticket is valid for 1 hour after validation and 2 hours after validation on line 3 (excluding round trips).
Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge on the entire Txik Txak network, except for Group tickets.
Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption and drunkenness on board vehicles are prohibited.
It is forbidden to eat or drink on board the vehicles.
it is necessary to fold your stroller and hold your child in your arms. In case of overcrowding, and for your child’s safety, the transport of strollers may be limited or even refused.
Only guide dogs and small pets are allowed on the bus (free transport). These should be transported in closed baskets.

People with reduced mobility
Txik Txak offers a door-to-door transport service for people with reduced mobility in theAgglomération Sud Pays Basque area, from their place of residence to the destination of their choice:
- This T.P.M.R. service operates from Monday to Saturday by reservation, from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.
- To qualify, you must be over 80% disabled.
- Please note: Txik Txak has only one wheelchair space per bus.
- Bus stops are adapted to accommodate PRMs as and when necessary.
