There are two of them. Two on an islet, a space isolated from the outside world. How long have they been there? They don't know. Day after day, they string pearls. Could there be something else out there?

Là-bas recounts the moment when we are torn between fear of the unknown and the desire to explore and discover something new. Womb, nest, home, the islet opens up the imagination of the child spectator, allowing each of us to project our dreams and fears onto it.
