Après une visite du chai terrestre pour découvrir la vinification sous-marine, la dégustation des 6 vins s'ouvre sur notre terrasse face à la baie de Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Chaque vin révèle sa subtilité à travers un accord pintxos pensé pour en sublimer les arômes.
Une expérience pour savourer le vin, la gastronomie et le paysage.

Egiategia est le pionnier de la vinification sous-marine. Au début, c’est un défi fou, une jolie impertinence teintée de poésie :
vinifier sous l’eau dans la baie de Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Puis c’est devenu une évidence. Tout part de la recherche de raisins aux qualités singulières pour correspondre aux exigences de cette méthode si particulière, puis de collaborations avec des vignerons aux valeurs vertueuses.
Protégées par la digue de l’Artha, les cuves contenant le vin sont immergées à 15 m de profondeur. Là, commence la prise de mousse en cuve. Les tempêtes hivernales, les marées et les longues houles Ouest Nord créent un bâtonnage régulier et une pression constante. Cette méthode doublement brevetée, apporte aux vins des arômes uniques et surprenants. Une belle expérience qui vous fera voyager.
