High above the Basque coast, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, discover a natural area preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral. From meadows to wooded areas, open your eyes to breathtaking views of the ocean and the sights of the Abbadia estate, first and foremost the fabulous château that gives it its name. Other points of interest on the estate include several remnants of the Atlantic Wall, a stark reminder of the last world war.
Itinerary

  • Step 1 :

    Depuis le parking en bordure de la D912, route de la corniche, traverser la route et entrer dans le domaine Abbadia par un portillon.

  • Step 2 :

    Suivre le sentier en direction de la pointe Sainte-Anne. Arrivé au bout du sentier, attention aux escaliers parfois glissants. Continuer pendant 450 m, puis prendre à droite et rejoindre la pointe Sainte-Anne.

  • Step 3 :

    Le sentier suit le bord de la falaise. Ne pas quitter le sentier ! A plusieurs reprises, il vous est possible de prendre un sentier sur la gauche afin de dessiner une boucle et de retrouver le sentier pris à l’aller puis de rejoindre le départ.
