Since October 2013, an international short film festival has been taking center stage in Hendaye, organized by the Hendaia Film Festival association, led by Angela Mejias and a team of highly dedicated volunteers.

Each year, a selection of short films is presented to audiences of all ages—children and adults alike—to help you discover new sociocultural and linguistic horizons.
The festival’s mission is to open minds by highlighting the richness of cultural differences in order to foster a love of diversity rather than a fear of others.

The key themes of this festival are: “Sharing, Humanity, Hope, Solidarity.”
