The Maison de la Corniche is based at “Asporotsttipi”, an old Basque farmhouse owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Located on the Corniche Basque<\/strong> just off the road from Hendaye, it is open to all free of charge<\/strong>, and is particularly suitable for families. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has become a must for discovering the Corniche and the whole Basque coastline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geology, flora, fauna<\/strong>, human activities, this natural area will hold no secrets for you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the permanent multimedia exhibition<\/strong>, discover the particularities and richness of this natural area, unique in the Basque Country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, our temporary exhibitions and special events program provide opportunities to explore certain themes in greater depth. There’s also a screening room where you can watch films showing the area, nature and artistic projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In Hendaye, every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August, you’re invited to take part in a “nature discovery” walk (10:00 am to 12:30 pm – except public holidays). An unspoilt natural setting where the Pyrenees, the Atlantic meet…and man!Follow us along the trails, and we’ll show you all the natural and cultural attractions (fauna, flora, geology, history…) of this protected natural site, emblematic of the Basque Country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
