As part of the coastal risk awareness program developed in collaboration with the Basque Country Urban Community, we invite you to join us on this nature hike along the coast.

If you take a walk along the small paths near the cliffs on the Domaine d’Abbadia, you’ll likely notice wooden posts with small plaques marked “Conservatoire du littoral” and “VisioLittoral.”

What exactly are they?

Join our geomorphologist, who is in charge of coastal risk management, to discover the significance of this participatory initiative and learn about some of its results.

This is also an opportunity to ask your questions about cliff erosion and the risks along this stretch of the Basque coast.

We’ll explain the management approaches used, particularly within the framework of the Local Coastal Risk Management Strategy developed by the CAPB.
