Throughout the week of June 8 to 13, the Hendaye municipal swimming pool will be running an educational program for schoolchildren, swimming school users and adults.

In collaboration with the municipal pool?s lifeguards, the Corsairs (lifesaving sports), the SNSM and the SDIS 64, awareness of aquatic risks and lifesaving techniques will be integrated into the usual activities.

On Saturday June 13, participants will be able to follow an immersive course through a Rescuer?s Passport that includes a number of workshops: playful discovery with locating, approaching and towing a victim, raising awareness of the dangers of the ocean and beach regulations, learning first aid techniques (assessment, alerting, PLS, CPR and use of the DSA), as well as demonstrations and trials of rescue equipment...
