As part of the scientific mediation program linked to the exhibition Archaeology, the excavators of time, this first 2-day "art and science" course 2025 focuses on archaeology, and in particular on the different methods and sciences of archaeology through the discovery of our local heritage.

Playing the role of an archaeologist, children follow the steps involved in discovering a site: prospecting, excavation and then in the laboratory: dating, object reconstruction, analysis and site interpretation.
They apply the various techniques and approaches of the archaeological sciences (archaeozoology, palynology, ceramology, numismatics, etc.).
