The G.R. 10
At a rate of a 7-8 hours hike each day, it takes around fifteen days to go from Hendaye to the Aubisque pass. The paths are signposted with red and white markings.
The former "Croisière" Casino on the beach is the starting point for the trek.
The G.R. immediately crosses the lower quarter and cuts across Béhobie. The paths from Mount The mountain stages can be attacked from Mount Xoldokogaina's paths at Biriatou (5 Km from Hendaye).
It takes around a month and a half to go from Hendaye to Banyuls-sur-Mer along the G.R. 10.
Hikers begin a formidable adventure of fifty stages which many prefer to tackle in several visits. Accommodation is found in refuges and shelters, since the route crosses high mountains and deep valleys. An amazing variety of landscapes, the ocean influence of the Basque Country to the Mediterranean aridness of the Albères mountains, are there to discover.
