The Coastal Path

The mountains on one side ; beaches, strands and cliffs on the other...

From Bidart to Hendaye, the Coastal Path offers 25 kilometres AE or BE of splendid panoramic views all along the Basque coast’s most beautiful scenery.

Accessible to all, the path can be walked by stages, as a complete trip (calculate around 7 hours), or in several days if time is taken to discover the outstanding heritage of the towns and cities it goes through.

The Path comprises eight main entry points and six interpretation stations along the way. Hikers can make instructive and thematic stops to learn more about the coast, the surf, fishing and the bay at Saint-Jean de Luz.
